Dedicated to carrying forward a legacy of support for elders in our Jewish community

The Robison Foundation for Jewish Elders supports programs that impact the lives of seniors in the Greater Portland Jewish community.

Following the sale of the Boundary Street campus in October 2024, the Cedar Sinai Park Foundation changed its name to the Robison Foundation for Jewish Elders. We have expanded our mission while honoring our legacy of 100+ years of service  to the elders in our Jewish community.

Our Mission

To enhance the lives of elders in our Jewish community by supporting their social, spiritual and physical well-being.

Our History

Our story begins in 1920, in an old Victorian house, in the Jewish immigrant neighborhood of South Portland…

What are the challenges facing our Jewish elders?

Many elders experience loneliness and isolation, and there are few regularly scheduled, community-wide activities for them.

Many elders no longer drive or face other accessibility-related challenges that limit their participation in community activities.

Many elders lack services and equipment they need to live in comfort and health.

Many Jewish organizations face staffing and funding challenges that limit their ability to fully serve our elders.
